Good Deed Entertainment seeks a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the company’s finance organization, which includes corporate strategy, capital markets and mergers & acquisition transactions, financial planning & analysis, risk management, investor relations, tax, and treasury.


  • Drive long-term strategic financial planning across film, television and emerging sectors and present accurate reporting and timely financial information.

  • Manage the overall capital structure and liquidity of the company including revolving credit facility.

  • Evaluate and drive studio-wide new business initiatives, partnerships and capital/debt raises.

  • Offers recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities

  • Creating and enforcing accounting and finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • Analyzes cash flow, expenses and all financial statements to pinpoint potential areas for improvements.

  • Responsible for presenting and reporting accurate and timely historical financial information.

  • Manage all aspects of monthly financial reporting and close, create new processes and guidelines as needed, including the preparation and review of all financial statements

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and reporting


  • Minimum:  4 years of experience in accounting and financial management practices

  • Entertainment experience preferred

  • CPA preferred

  • Experience with IPO’s and/or M&A’s

  • Well organized and detailed oriented.

  • High proficiency with Excel and Quickbook skills

  • Self motivated and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
