Marketing Content Creation Intern

Good Deed Entertainment is seeking interns who will learn the ins and outs of an independent feature film studio through hands-on experience in our marketing department.

The Intern for Marketing Content Creation will be responsible for designing and creating a variety of visual content, including graphics for social media platforms. They will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop engaging materials that align with the brand’s messaging and goals.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for creative storytelling, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and exhibit a keen interest in pursuing a career in marketing within the entertainment industry. A Graphic Design portfolio is required for your application. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in social media management and video editing. Miscellaneous responsibilities may include updating websites with new content, assisting with the creation of marketing materials for events and campaigns, and writing compelling pitches to support promotional efforts.

Required Education:

• Currently enrolled in Undergraduate or Graduate program in an accredited College or University degree program in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing or a related field.

• Internships are available on a rolling basis and can adapt to your school schedule

Requirements:

• Time commitment of 8 to 15 hours per week (during school year) or up to 40 hours per week in Summer
• Able to work in person in Ashland or hybrid (part from home, part from office)
• Independent work ethic & time management
• Collaborative attitude
• Must have own laptop and cell phone
• Must sign a non-disclosure agreement

Housing:

• Must provide own housing and transportation to and from our Ashland, OH offices.

Production Coordinator (full time)

Full time position at Independent Movie Studio | Good Deed Entertainment | Ashland, OH

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to join our filmmaking team as a Studio Production Coordinator. In this role, you will maintain production schedules, coordinate with crew and talent, organize production documents, and handle a variety of other tasks that ensure projects run smoothly. You will work directly with lead producers and executives on a daily basis, and quickly expand your knowledge and experience in real-world production management. If you are a well-organized, skilled multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and you have a passion for storytelling with the work ethic to back it up, then you may be an excellent candidate for this position. This is an on-site opportunity in Ashland, OH.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage project calendars and maintain production schedules.
• Collaborate with Producers, and Project Managers to meet the team’s needs.
• Participate in short and long-term planning aligned with goals set by managers.
• Work with all departments that contribute to the production.
• Perform general clerical duties to support directors, producers, and production managers.
• Assist with and organize logistics, basic expense tracking, and manage production assets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in film/video production or related field.
• Internships at studios or production companies are an asset.
• Previous experience as a production coordinator or production assistant.
• Familiarity with all aspects of production to facilitate effective communication.
• Superb organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints.
• Excellent written and spoken verbal communication; professional telephone etiquette.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital file management.
• Knowledge of project management and production management software is a huge bonus.
• Ability to deliver superior service and build lasting relationships.

Hours:

This is a full-time salaried position that will intermittently require long production hours during periods of physical film production
